We are seeking a compassionate and results-driven Senior Healthcare Outreach Specialist to join our team at Centauri Health Solutions. As a Senior Outreach Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping hospitals and health plans improve their revenue and deliver community benefits by assisting patients and plan members in enrolling in government-funded assistance programs.

Role Overview:

In this fast-paced contact center environment, you will utilize your exceptional customer service skills to screen health plan members for eligibility in Social Security benefits and/or supplemental Nutritional Assistance programs. You will provide support and guidance to those who meet specific criteria, assisting in the submission of applications to the appropriate government agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound and receive inbound calls to promote company services and determine eligibility for government programs
• Conduct interviews with patients/members via phone to gather personal and sensitive information
• Utilize our systems to ensure accurate and efficient eligibility determination
• Interpret and explain eligibility requirements and application details to patients/members
• Compile, record, and evaluate personal and financial data to determine eligibility
• Maintain the safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to our information security policies

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service/call center environment
• Excellent phone skills and ability to place and receive calls via computer interface
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage difficult conversations and provide compassionate support
• Experience working remotely and ability to maintain a private, quiet office/working space
• Associate's Degree preferred
