About the Role:

* As a Summer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with various IT projects, including software development, business analysis, data analysis, and technical support. * You will work on a variety of tasks, such as gathering requirements for development, designing and testing software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. * You will have the opportunity to work on a range of technologies, including Java/JEE, JSON, Spring, React, DevOps, APIs, JavaScript, C++ on Linux, Python, REST, XML, web services, HTML, and mobile app development. * You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field * 2.5 GPA or higher and at least 2 years of coursework completed * Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively with others, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Familiarity with cloud technology, software development lifecycles, and computer hardware and software * Ability to work in a business casual work environment * Interest in pursuing a full-time role with Delta Airlines after graduation

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to process large amounts of data and information, and concisely summarize findings to inform decision-making * Desire to learn leadership methods and best practices in critical thinking and conflict resolution to drive innovation and progress * Passion for working with technologies such as mobile apps, web applications, APIs, reporting, databases, big data, and artificial intelligence
