Customer Service Assistant - Remote Opportunity with Competitive Salary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Assistant to join our team at Workwarp. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, processing credits and debits, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Key Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain bills of materials in the system
- Respond to incoming calls from customers and vendors in a timely and professional manner
- Perform month-end processing and process credits and debits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and contact information
- Develop and implement a system of financial recordkeeping, including issuing receipts and recording payments
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including helpfulness and patience when interacting with vendors, customers, and colleagues
- Adhere to established company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors and co-workers to achieve common goals
- Perform administrative functions, such as electronic and physical filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Maintain electronic documents, including spreadsheets and other office files
- Enter receivers into the ERP software and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1 year of administrative assistant experience; experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work overtime as needed
