Senior Analyst - Remote Opportunity with American Airlines ($25/Hour)

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the impact of internal and external projects on revenue accounting, understanding business needs, and communicating these needs to stakeholders. You will refine and improve revenue accounting processes, propose optimal solutions, and work with business groups to gather requirements and write user stories. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that revenue accounting system processes align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of internal and external projects on revenue accounting
• Refine and improve revenue accounting processes to maximize benefits from projects
• Propose optimal solutions and gather approval from business stakeholders
• Work with business groups to gather requirements and write user stories
• Ensure distinct recognition standards for user stories
• Collaborate with engineers and Agile product teams to ensure user stories are communicated and understood
• Verify recognition measures are met, accept user stories, and demo to stakeholders
• Communicate project status to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Support the QA team in understanding project requirements and ensuring test scripts cover all business scenarios

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Business Analyst working with IT
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment
• Preferred: experience working with mainframe-based systems, airline experience (specifically in the area of ticketing)
• Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
