Remote Prior Authorization Specialist - $17/hr - Work from Home Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client's healthcare team. As a Remote Prior Authorization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in processing prior authorization requests, verifying insurance coverage, and collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and track prior authorization requests via inbound and outbound calls
• Verify patients' medical insurance eligibility and coverage
• Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate of $17/hr
• Full-time position with weekly pay and benefits
• Flexible schedule: 8am-8pm CST, Monday-Friday (8-hour shift between these hours)
• Equipment provided
• Remote work-from-home opportunity

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of medical benefits experience (no exceptions)
• Call center experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
• Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Must reside in one of the following US states: AZ, KY, UT, TX, GA, or FL
