Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team at Toyota. As a key member of our Customs & Trade Compliance Department, you will play a critical role in establishing, implementing, and sustaining trade compliance programs that span our business operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit programs involving HTS and ECCN classification, trade-related transactions, and supply chain security procedures
  • Support post-entry activities, government audits, and Toyota's participation in Customs and Border Protection programs
  • Conduct training on trade compliance-related matters for stakeholders within Toyota and with 3rd party business partners
  • Coordinate activities performed by third-party vendors that support the Trade Compliance and Monitoring area
  • Prepare trade compliance reporting for department management, including audit findings and annual reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent trade programs related work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of customs regulations, transaction audits, and supply chain security
  • Progressive experience in Customs and Trade Compliance related functions
  • Strong problem-solving, quality, and process development skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
