We're seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Payroll Specialist to join our family-owned assisted living company in Citrus Heights, CA. As a key member of our team, you will oversee payroll processing with precision and accuracy, ensuring compliance with California wage and hour laws. Key Responsibilities:

• Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time using iSolved HCM software.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with California labor laws.
• Address payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Audit payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with HR and management to support employee onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll.
• Prepare and submit 401k year-end audit and Workman's Comp monthly/annual reports.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting.
• Proficiency with iSolved HCM or similar payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and payroll regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Northern California.
