Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with writers, editors, and content creators to suggest improvements or rewrites where necessary.

Maintain quick turnaround times while preserving the integrity of the original text.

Use proofreading tools and style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.) as required by the document type.

Handle multiple assignments simultaneously while prioritizing tasks based on deadlines.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong attention to detail with an eye for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.

Familiarity with style guides such as APA, MLA, Chicago, and others.

Competence in using editing software such as Microsoft Word (Track Changes), Google Docs, or Grammarly.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in proofreading, copyediting, or academic writing.

Prior experience with academic papers, business reports, or professional documentation is preferred.

Freelance or in-house experience with publishing, academic journals, or corporate clients is a plus.
