About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and provide high-quality documentation, code samples, and tutorials.
• As a Technical Writer IV, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that helps developers build immersive experiences in our platform.

Job Title: Technical Writer IV

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate, concise, and engaging documentation, including API references, guides, and tutorials
• Develop code samples and examples that demonstrate best practices for building immersive experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Conduct research and interviews to gather information for developer audience
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Continuously improve documentation based on feedback

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience writing for a developer audience
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience writing for a developer audience
• Experience with 3D AR/VR gaming and a preference for experience with technical writing for platforms
• Knowledge of media production and instructional design principles, with experience creating interactive tutorials and guides
• FAANG or Big Tech background preferred

Location: Remote [USA]

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $124,800 $172,640 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
