Description

SAIC is seeking engineers to provide Site Implementation support to the FAA Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering organization. These positions are 100% remote when not traveling. Requires up to 30% travel within the United States.

Job Responsibilities may include

  • Assisting with FDIO modifications.
  • Reading site drawings.
  • Installing and validating hardware and software.
  • Cable fabrication and testing.
Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in engineering or related field. May accept additional experience or degrees.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.
  • Knowledge of cable paths and protocols
  • Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Required Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
