Senior .NET Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team as we rearchitect an existing portfolio of web applications into an integrated suite using modern architectural patterns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will play a key role in architecting solutions, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical excellence across our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Leadership

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using .NET Core/.NET Framework
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Participate in architecture decisions and technical design reviews
  • Implement and maintain microservices architectures and distributed systems
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers on technical best practices
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
  • Provide technical guidance and support for complex problem-solving
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Propose and implement improvements to development processes and tools
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies that enhance product capabilities
  • Contribute to technical standards and development guidelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in .NET development
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
  • Proficiency with Entity Framework Core/Entity Framework
  • Experience with SQL Server and database design principles
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

Beneficial Technical Experience

  • Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS/Azure)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture
  • Understanding of security best practices and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
  • Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
