Post Completion Mentor - Data Driven Strategic Thinking (DDST)

The Opportunity

Springboard has launched an accelerated 6-week course in Data-Driven Strategic Thinking for professionals with rich experience as technical experts across diverse teams and organizations. This course focuses on developing strategic thinking and influential communication skills that enable an organization’s employees to have a strategic impact using data-driven decisions and communicating recommendations to executive-level leadership.

We are currently seeking Springboard DDST mentors with consulting and executive coaching experience who would like to support these professionals in an “on-demand mentoring” capacity once the course timeline is complete. The post-completion mentor calls is to cement learnings from the course as individuals go on with day-to-day work. This may include the presentation of upcoming recommendations, quarterly planning, or MBRs for which demonstrating data-driven and strategic thinking is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Come prepared and attend student and mentor calls (60 minutes)
• Update your calendar to have a minimum of 5 hours of regular and reliable time during US ET business hours
  • Please note that five hours of availability does not mean five calls will be booked per week
• Record call notes within 24 hours in the Springboard dashboard
• Provide updates on trends across the participants such that more material course improvements or support offerings can be incorporated into the experience.

You

• Have 10+ years of professional experience
• Have 5+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting. McKinsey, Bain, and BCG experience a plus
• Have experience working in an executive or leadership coaching capacity
• Can adapt to the needs of different call types - be it tactical or more strategic
• Are a great motivator and can guide students through difficult subjects
• Have experience mentoring or delivering lessons or workshops on Data-Driven Strategic Thinking topics
• Are empathetic and have excellent communication skills

Compensation:

• Compensation is $100 per call completed and distributed on a monthly basis
