Filevine is building the seamless intersection between legal and business by creating a world- class platform to help professionals scale.We’re looking for a Texas-based Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) to join our fast-moving reporter marketplace team in a flexible contractor capacity, with potential to grow into a full-time role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, works independently, and is excited to contribute beyond transcription. You will be helping us define top-tier quality and procedures for a modern, tech-enabled deposition experience. In this hybrid role, you’ll combine traditional stenographic and scopist responsibilities while also acting as a trusted resource on Texas court reporting standards, advising our team on formatting, compliance, and other key nuances as we expand legal services across the state.

What You Will Do:

• Produce and deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts of depositions, hearings, and legal proceedings
• Use CAT software and transcription tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts
• Ensure all work complies with state court reporting requirements and industry best practices
• Review and consult on transcript formatting, compliance questions, and procedural workflows
• Collaborate with our internal operations team on quality standards and process improvements
• Appear for live proceedings in a certified stenographic capacity as needed

What You Bring:

• Current Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license (required)
• Familiarity with Texas-specific procedural rules or legal terminology
• Experience with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse, etc.) and digital audio tools
• Ability to self-manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to provide insights on transcription standards, legal formatting, and quality control
• Comfort with occasional live appearance work (e.g., remote depositions or proceedings)Experience working with legal marketplaces, agencies, or remote-first teams
