Engineer Design & Creation (all gender)
Aerofoils GmbH, a spin-off of AUDI AG, is seeking a Design & Creation Engineer to develop high-tech electrically powered surfboards (e-foils). The role involves holistic consideration of branding and graphic design across digital and analog touchpoints, product/industrial design, and technical understanding of manufacturing processes. The engineer will contribute to creating a product-spanning design language aligned with Audi standards.
Requirements
- Holistic consideration of branding, typography, and graphic design across all touchpoints
- Design strategy and presentation structure including wording and storytelling
- Application of Design Thinking, User Journey, and User Need methods
- Product/Industrial design for consumer sports products
- Technical understanding of components, requirements, and manufacturing processes
- Development of holistic, product-spanning design language
- Experience with Figma (including Prototyping)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Experience with Adobe Premiere/After Effects or similar
- Experience with Blender or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Technical design understanding
- Product-spanning design language
- Surface/NURBS Modeling (e.g., 3ds Max, SolidWorks, Autodesk Alias, Rhino)
- Hand Sketching
- Basics of 3D Printing
- AI Design Tools (Viscom, Adobe Firefly, MidJourney, Flux or similar)
