At Parser we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on deploying, maintaining, and scaling industrialized products in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, networking, and container orchestration, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient solutions that align with evolving business needs. This role requires strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

The impact you'll make:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS, alongside CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
  • Configure and optimize networking services including VPCs, security groups, and routing protocols.
  • Implement and maintain compute, storage, and serverless services while adhering to best practices for security and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues using logs, monitoring tools, and incident management processes.
  • Automate workflows and develop tools for improving deployment efficiency, infrastructure monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Write and optimize structured queries using SQL and develop scripts with Python to improve system performance.
  • Ensure systems comply with cyber standards and regulations for data security and privacy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Document infrastructure processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge continuity.

Technology stack:

  • Cloud: Strong experience with AWS (compute, storage, serverless services, networking like VPCs, subnets, and security groups).
  • Python, SQL (scripting and querying).
  • Frameworks: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
  • Microservices: Container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS; deployment and scaling of microservices-based architectures.

What you'll bring to us:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments, with strong experience in AWS.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
  • Deep understanding of networking configuration (VPCs, subnets, security groups, etc.).
  • Proficient in scripting and querying with Python.
  • Strong version control experience with Git.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Focus on clear, effective documentation of technical work.
  • Ability to deliver and own quality outputs under time pressure.
  • Results-orientation, with motivation for the success of the entire team and project versus one's individual tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Location:

  • UK-Based Candidates: Hybrid work model with an expected office presence of 2–3 days per week.
  • Candidates based in Spain or Portugal: Remote work model with one 3-day trip per month to the client site in the UK.
