Senior Cloud Developer (AWS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Development
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications leveraging AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Optimize workloads for cost, scalability, performance, and security.
• Application Development
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Develop APIs and integration layers for enterprise systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices, IAM policies, and data protection standards.
• Partner with security teams to embed governance, monitoring, and incident response strategies.
• Collaboration & Leadership
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments.
