Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments Reconciliation and Corporate Actions (Remote)

If so, we encourage you to apply for the Experienced Data Entry Specialist position at blithequark, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Alternate Investments reconciliation and corporate actions processes. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and reconciling transactions and returns activity. You will also be tasked with analyzing complex issues, testing and validating new innovation enhancements, and communicating with external partners via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of your work, which directly impacts our clients' and advisors' profiles. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, collaborating with fund companies, transfer agents, and other external partners to resolve issues and improve processes. You will also be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and process subscription deals or transfer requests

  • Identify and address client/advisor account exceptions
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconcile business, dividend, and transactions breaks
  • Resolve issues and discrepancies between BOS and fund companies
  • Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
  • Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
  • Identify and resolve root causes of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
  • Provide method or innovation service alternatives to management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or opposite firm
  • Answer business partner inquiries concerning fund details requirements/eligibility
  • Provide follow-up on substitute expenditure moves to expedite customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with data entry software and systems

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Familiarity with financial markets and instruments
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
