Key Responsibilities

As a data scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing essential reporting and analytical insights to support the App Store business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Instrumenting data requirements and analytic plans for current and to-be-released App Store features
  • Developing strategies to enhance monetization of games, in-app purchases, and subscriptions on the App Store
  • Growing the Arcade business by understanding the impact of new content
  • Establishing core datasets with AMP engineering to scale insights to business managers
  • Enhancing the App Store business model and elevating support for developer management
  • Diving deep into large-scale data to discover trends and uncover key insights to propel business strategy
  • Building models to evaluate account migration/cannibalization and predict churn/retention/lifetime value
  • Collaborating with business, marketing, finance, and executive teams to generate general shows for C-level
  • Partnering with other blithequark teams on data gathering, data governance, evangelizing key performance indicators, and democratizing data

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree or overseas equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in the field provided or a related occupation
  • Experience and/or education in:

+ Database (SQL) + R or Python programming + Tableau dashboard + Machine Learning Modeling + Data analysis + AB testing and experimentation

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working with large-scale data sets
  • Strong understanding of data visualization and communication
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience with data governance and data quality
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
