Job Summary

As a Clinical Support Services Agent, you will be responsible for receiving initial calls from patients and families, gathering information, and relaying it to our clinicians. This role requires strong customer care skills, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be trained and supported in processing calls, and you will have the opportunity to enhance your customer care skills while working at blithequark.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive initial calls from patients and families, gather information, and relay it to our clinicians

  • Provide exceptional customer care to patients and families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls simultaneously and adapting to changing situations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions
  • Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless communication and effective care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance customer care skills and stay up-to-date on industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age

  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Accurate keyboard and typing skills (minimum requirements)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
  • Evening, weekend shifts required (including holidays, paid at time ½)
  • Access to High Speed Internet on a personal network (cannot be a shared network)
  • Personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software

Work Environment and Company Culture

* Work-from-home (remote position) after a two-week orientation/training in our Gilbert training center

  • Monday – Friday schedule (with occasional evening and weekend shifts)
