In this exciting position, you'll be part of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division at blithequark. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch support to our end-users, ensuring seamless operation of their workstations and peripherals. You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, resolving tickets, and implementing software and hardware upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals

  • Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
  • Contribute to desktop projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member
  • Remotely diagnose and resolve issues using remote tools
  • Investigate and collaborate with other departments to address system-related issues
  • Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
  • Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
  • Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability and remote/broadband connectivity for workstations
  • Install and configure local and network-based printers
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel as required
  • Follow management direction, adhering to IT strategy and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

All You'll Need for Success

* Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional training + Associate's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience/preparation

  • 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
  • First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:

+ A+ certification + MCSE/MCP certification + Past IT foundation experience in an Aircraft/Airport environment

  • Skills, Licenses, and Certificates:

+ General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10 + Familiarity with workflow and tagging systems + Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues + Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
