Job Summary

As a Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for processing patient enrollment, handling high-volume customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in our pharmacy systems. You will work under the direct supervision of our team leaders and be accountable for adhering to our company policies and procedures. This is a part-time remote position, requiring 8 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's pharmacy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into our system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing prescription data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
  • Resolve external exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
  • Make phone calls to support plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve external exceptions.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
  • Recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to acquire active professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a current active professional license or certification.
  • Essential level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and shut down programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access data online).
  • Fundamental web search skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Transitional level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, preparing reports).

Preferred Qualifications

* At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, preparing documents).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
