Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced full stack data analyst to join our team in New Jersey, USA. As a part-time remote data entry professional, you'll work closely with our paid media investigation team to surface data-driven insights that inform business decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed reports and analyses to inform business decisions
• Collaborating with paid media information science teams and marketing groups to optimize media blend models
• Directing specialized research through database querying, followed by smart analysis of results and the planning and communication of recommendations that drive action
• Serving as a liaison with marketing, finance, and product groups to handle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
• Influencing Organized Inquiry Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Success, and other reporting tools to create and maintain planned and Ad-hoc reports
• Examining data to identify business issues and leading deep dives to perform root cause analysis
• Cooperating with partners to use data (internal data from Discernible and Amazon, as well as external data from market research and marketing organizations) and address complex business challenges by conveying significant insights
• Conceptualizing and running investigations that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition

Essential Capabilities

* Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce climate or related field

• High-level SQL experience
• High-level involvement in at least one industry data analysis and measurement perception tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI)
• Mastery in Success with a demonstrated history
• Degree in data science, business, finance, data innovation, statistics, mathematics, or other related field

• You have an enthusiasm for numbers, data, and metrics, but also for conveying significant analysis of high quality
• Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with little direction and tight deadlines
• Fantastic communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively
• Experience with enrollment, membership-based, or media content organizations
• Experience with and/or interest to learn more on state-of-the-art data science approaches
• Programming languages: knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
• Knowledge of Adobe Analysis
