Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry and Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Entering new and updated customer and account information into the database with accuracy and efficiency
  • Compiling and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Establishing entry priorities to ensure efficient data processing
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving them using standard procedures
  • Inputting alphabetic and numeric information according to screen format
  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Verifying entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information
  • Combining data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete
  • Purging files to eliminate duplication of data
  • Testing system changes and upgrades by entering new data
  • Securing information by completing database backups
  • Following organization's policies and procedures, reporting any needed changes
  • Maintaining customer confidence by keeping information confidential
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (at least 40 wpm)
  • Keen attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Thoroughness in completing tasks, with a focus on quality and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles

  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance, including cleaning, repair, and maintenance procedures
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
