As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customs shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business results.

Job Summary:

As a Customs Trade Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for processing customs shipments, managing documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You'll work closely with internal teams, government agencies, and external partners to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process customs shipments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation, including import and export records, duty calculations, and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and customer information
  • Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and external partners to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Process organization financier shipments, including preparation of necessary documentation and coordination with clients and carriers
  • May handle distant filings, including preparation and submission of customs declarations and other regulatory documents
  • Ensure all service and operational strategies are followed, including adherence to arenaflex's quality standards and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and initiatives

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or international trade

  • At least 6 months of experience in a related field, preferably in customs brokerage, logistics, or trade compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound judgments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, government agencies, and external partners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling high volumes of work and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or trade compliance
  • Experience with customs software, including Automated Broker Interface (ABI) and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines, including the Harmonized System (HS) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including customs procedures and documentation requirements
  • Experience working with government agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Department of Commerce
