Help Desk Business Analyst
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced business analyst to join a growing and dynamic program focused on financial management activities for a government agency. The role involves processing accounts payable, assisting with budget tasks, and responding to client help desk tickets while working collaboratively within an experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Processing accounts payable to include vendor invoice payments in Momentum
- Assisting with daily budget tasks including but not limited to requirements tracking and budget forecasting
- Completing annual internal control assessments over key business processes
- Assisting with financial reporting activities
- Responding timely and professionally to client help desk tickets
- Assisting with year-end activities
- Developing knowledge and keeping up-to-date on new processes or procedures

- Background or degree in finance or business

- Familiarity with use of artificial intelligence (AI)
- Familiarity with financial accounting software programs/suites
- Experience in audit and/or internal controls
- Knowledge of the federal government budget and budget execution
- Facilitate knowledge sharing with team members
