The Role

As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer support to our clients' website visitors. You'll be responsible for answering incoming customer live chats, evaluating customer interactions, and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary. Your primary goal will be to deliver quick, accurate, and personalized assistance to customers, while promoting interest in our clients' products and services.

Responsibilities

* Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns

  • Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately
  • Promote interest in client products and services
  • Continually portray and project a positive and professional image
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Key Skills and Qualifications

* Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment

  • PC keyboarding and internet experience needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
  • Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
  • Upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality

Preferred Qualifications

* The ability to compose professional emails

  • Experience with online chat software and customer support platforms
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services (a plus, but not required)
