We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android Engineer with deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development to play a pivotal role in building the next generation of MultiBank's sophisticated trading applications.
• In this role, you will be instrumental in developing highly performant, secure, and scalable Android applications that are utilized globally by both retail and institutional traders. This position is perfectly suited for a hands-on engineer who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments, possesses a keen understanding of real-time trading user experience (UX), and consistently delivers mobile experiences of the highest quality. You will engage in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend engineers, QA specialists, and designers, to conceptualize, develop, and launch powerful and intuitive fintech features that redefine the trading landscape.
• Your core responsibilities will encompass architecting, designing, and developing advanced Android applications leveraging the power of Kotlin and contemporary Android frameworks. You will be tasked with building features that are not only highly performant but also exceptionally secure and reliable, catering to the demanding needs of global trading users. A significant part of your work will involve close collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to meticulously define requirements and deliver new capabilities that enhance our trading platforms.
• A critical aspect of this role is the implementation and adherence to stringent secure coding standards, incorporating robust encryption techniques, and applying best practices for comprehensive data protection. You will be responsible for optimizing application performance, meticulously managing memory usage, and ensuring seamless responsiveness across a diverse spectrum of Android devices. This includes integrating our applications seamlessly with backend APIs, real-time WebSocket feeds, and various third-party services, ensuring a fluid and efficient user experience.
• We emphasize maintaining a clean, scalable, and maintainable codebase, strictly adhering to established architectural patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Jetpack best practices. Your commitment to quality will extend to writing comprehensive unit tests, UI tests, and automation scripts, all designed to guarantee the utmost application stability and reliability. Furthermore, you will actively participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and champion the enforcement of high engineering standards throughout the development lifecycle. Staying abreast of the latest Android technologies, Google's official guidelines, and emerging industry trends will be crucial for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience, with a strong command of Kotlin.
• Proven experience delivering and maintaining Android apps in fintech, trading, payments, or other high-security environments.
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, Coroutines, Flows, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
• Strong experience with RESTful API integrations, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
• Proficiency with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and modular codebases.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive layouts, and accessibility.
• Experience with JUnit, Espresso, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of mobile security, encryption, secure storage, and data protection principles.
