You will be a valued member of the development team and work collaboratively with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. In this role, you will: Design and develop user-friendly, performant web applications using Angular and Java. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front‑end and application functionality. Implement microservices architecture to improve scalability, maintainability, and deployment efficiency. Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to enhance usability, responsiveness, and design consistency. Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with coding standards and engineering best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure performance, security, and reliability. Strong proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture and related development practices. Familiarity with front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies. These will help you stand out Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to optimize applications for performance and scalability. Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile/Scrum teams. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
