Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in driving business decisions with data-driven insights. You'll work closely with our content team to apply advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth. Your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization will enable you to communicate complex insights to stakeholders across the organization, informing strategic and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Investigate customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform acquisition decisions
- Collaborate with the content team to advance our content launch and episode release strategy
- Test and optimize marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
- Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and operational direction
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant findings through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Passion for media and entertainment, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
