Your Role – Regional Sales Manager

Regional Sales Manager Southeast: Uncapped Commission and Great Benefits! This is a remote position but Candidates should live in the Southeast of the US (TN, NC, SC, LA, MS, GA or FL.)

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting company order, sales and market-share goals through direct selling efforts, training and territory management. The successful candidate will be part of an innovative culture which places great emphasis on training, personal development and growth.

The Southeast region offers a solid base of business, with tremendous growth opportunity and an uncapped commission structure. The salary range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions) is $140,000 - $260,000. Our Sales Managers are eligible for a company leased car, 28 days of paid time off (holidays + Vacation), great health benefits, flexible work hours and 401k matching. There are also many growth opportunities at Qualitrol or any of the 20 Operating Companies within Ralliant (our parent company).

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and sales & market-share objectives in your region.
  • Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in assigned territory to monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends & competitive product offerings, strategies, and activity.
  • Develop a successful representative network in assigned geographic including representative selection, training, and supervision.
  • Maintain company product training certifications as defined by Company.
  • Coordinate and attend key industry trade shows, seminars & conferences representing company products.
  • Maintain company databases as required, such as Salesforce. (Opportunity funnel, contact and partner management…)

Key Skills & Experience

  • A deep understanding of Electrical Distribution, Transmission and Generation end-users in general and Asset Management around Power transformers, Reactors, Substations and Generation Plants.
  • Experience structuring, advocating and closing electric power deals at all levels of management
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 60%)
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
  • Proven ability to carry and deliver against multi-million-dollar quotas.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-level customer relationships.
  • Experience working with or managing resellers and representative firms.

Other Skills:

  • Successful outside sales experience in high voltage equipment, electric utility & generation industry, and/or design & maintenance of generator / motor windings.
  • Demonstrated use of common business software programs such as MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
