Summary

This position reports to the Director Compensation of Programs and Operations and will partner with other members on the compensation team to effectively execute on strategic initiatives to provide global compensation offerings that will retain and attract the world’s best talent to support CHS. This position is multi-faceted and will have a diverse focus on analysis, compensation administration and managing core processes.  This role may be full time remote.  

Responsibilities

⦁    Lead the core global compensation processes, including competitive market analysis, budget formulation and accruals, salary planning, short- and long-term incentive administration and communication.    ⦁    Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements to compensation programs and processes in support of the organization’s total rewards strategy. ⦁    Manage system enhancement initiatives in close partnership with the HR IT team. ⦁    Ensure the quality of CHS’s market intelligence, including the management of the market analysis system and vendors, compensation surveys, market pricing, and knowledge of market trends to ensure competitiveness is at the forefront. ⦁    Provide thought leadership in the development and execution of compensation related data analytics.  Develop and execute complex reports, queries, and analysis to understand and monitor the effectiveness of existing Compensation plans, policies, practices, and administrative procedures. ⦁    Manage projects to achieve goals within agreed upon scope, timelines, and budget. ⦁    Develops and conducts presentations for senior leaders. ⦁    Interact with internal and subsidiary HR teams, corporate business areas, vendors, and consultants. ⦁    Ensure compensation standards comply with company policies, legislation and/or other regulations, with an up-to-date focus on federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity, wage and hour and regulatory/compliance requirements to compensation programs. Work with legal counsel on compensation related topics. ⦁    Coordinate SOX related activities and audits for the compensation function.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

⦁    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience ⦁    5-7+ years of Compensation experience or equivalent experience in HR or finance function ⦁    Advanced MS Excel skills (Privot tables, vLookUp, Macros) ⦁    Ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations/solutions and create executive presentations ⦁    Strong time management and project management skills efficiently working with deadlines ⦁    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with impeccable attention to detail. ⦁    Strong, proven experience working with HR data and Systems (e.g. Success Factors/SAP and MarketPay)

Additional Qualifications

⦁    Compensation or Human Resources certifications, such as CCP or SPHR ⦁    Master’s degree in related field ⦁    Experience in small to mid-size organization ⦁    Sales compensation experience ⦁    Global experience
