Job Description:

As an Operations Chat Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch customer service to our clients' customers through live chat. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with customers on a business's website, answering questions about products and services using pre-prepared responses provided by the business. If you're a quick learner, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service through live chat, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Utilize pre-prepared responses to answer customer questions about products and services
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored support
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and resolve customer issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, customer service) a plus

  • 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and basic computer knowledge
  • Reliable internet connection and a device (phone, tablet, laptop) with internet access
  • Availability to work at least 5 hours per week, with flexibility to work part-time (5-40 hours per week)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and live chat platforms
  • Basic knowledge of business operations and customer service principles
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
