Job Summary

We're seeking a results-oriented Customer Account Support Specialist to join our team. As a 100% remote role, you'll be available for shift requirements between 8:00 am - 7:00 pm CST (Monday - Friday) and 8:00 am - 12:00 pm CST (Saturday). If you have experience in financial services, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Customer Account Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and driving success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting customers to determine reasons for payment delinquency and negotiating payments.
  • Handling accounts with speed and accuracy while maintaining professionalism.
  • Confirming and/or negotiating payment arrangements, researching discrepancies, and documenting accounts accurately.
  • Meeting required performance standards and metrics, staying informed of policy changes.
  • Utilizing computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
  • Responding to caller inquiries with accurate information, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Adhering to state and federal laws in handling accounts.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and professional phone etiquette.
  • Good follow-up skills and persuasive negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Windows and Internet-based applications experience required.
  • Basic typing/data entry skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work a five-day workweek, including some Saturdays.

Education & Experience

While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
  • Prior experience in financial services or similar industry.
