Job title: ACES Early Learning Lead Teacher Company: Minnesota Valley Education District Job description: Mankato Area Public Schools has an opening for an ACES Early Learning Lead Teacher at MAPS Center for Learning beginning October 2, 2023. Positions are full-time, year-round positions. The ACES Early Learning Lead Teacher positions will have set program hours. Program hours may vary based on program needs. Job Summary: ACES is a childcare program for preschool and elementary age students in various schools throughout the district. The Early Learning Lead Teacher is responsible for working under program leadership to lead a safe and engaging environment for children enrolled in the program. This position is responsible for the daily implementation of curriculum and planned activities and supervision of site staff. Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent Two years experience working with children Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English language Must pass a background check through the Minnesota Department of Human Services Current First Aid and CPR certification or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment To lift up to 40 lbs for an extended amount of time To physically carry out job tasks: sitting on the floor, running, walking, lifting Rate of Pay: Starting pay is $19.00/hour To apply for this position go to click on employment opportunities.
