Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Big Data team at arenaflex. As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient data-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and drive the development of cutting-edge applications that transform industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data-driven solutions using Hadoop, Hive, and other Big Data technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and drive the development of cutting-edge applications
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, including refactoring and testing, to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Apply data science and machine learning techniques to drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making
- Work with data architects to design and implement data warehousing and data governance solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Big Data and data science
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Big Data and data science
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, and other Big Data technologies
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data governance principles
- Experience with data science and machine learning techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS or GCP
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Couchbase, or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration
