Position Overview

As a Chat Support Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in handling live chat inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide families and individuals through sensitive topics with care and respect. You will be the first point of contact for families and community members who reach out through our online platforms, and your responses will set the tone for their experience with arenaflex.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to online inquiries via live chat, website, and messaging platforms, ensuring that families and individuals receive timely and accurate information.

  • Provide compassionate assistance to families seeking information about funeral and cremation services, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support.
  • Accurately share company policies, service options, and general information in a respectful and supportive manner, ensuring that families and individuals have a clear understanding of their options.
  • Escalate complex or urgent matters to the appropriate team members when necessary, ensuring that families and individuals receive the support they need in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions, including chat logs and customer information.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery, including funeral directors, customer service representatives, and other support staff.
  • Uphold the company's values of compassion, dignity, and professionalism at all times, ensuring that families and individuals receive the highest level of care and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Prior experience in customer service, chat support, or related field, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to families and individuals.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a compassionate tone, including the ability to write clear, concise, and empathetic responses.
  • Strong computer and typing skills, including the ability to manage multiple chat windows simultaneously and navigate our online platforms with ease.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in sensitive conversations, including those involving grief, loss, and difficult emotions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed, to ensure that families and individuals receive support 24/7.
