In 2024, arenaflex’s Customer Listening Team processes more than five million surveys across 20+ countries and 10+ languages. The data you help curate and analyze fuels strategic decisions that improve products, services, and the overall customer journey. As a Senior Data & Voice‑of‑Customer Analyst, you will be at the heart of this transformation, shaping the way arenaflex captures, stores, and interprets the “voice of the customer” (VoC) across our enterprise‑wide analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – Partner closely with product owners, data engineers, and agile technology squads to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Design and maintain robust data models – Build scalable, high‑performance data schemas that support both batch and real‑time analytics for VoC initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines – Leverage Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to ingest, transform, and enrich survey data from the Cornerstone platform.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity – Implement automated testing, validation, and monitoring frameworks to guarantee accuracy and reliability of VoC metrics.
  • Drive analytical insights – Produce actionable dashboards, KPI reports, and predictive models that empower stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Automate repetitive processes – Identify opportunities for automation, develop scripts (Shell, Python), and streamline workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Mentor junior analysts – Share best practices, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative learning environment within the team.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies – Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends – Continuously explore emerging technologies and methodologies to keep arenaflex’s VoC capabilities cutting‑edge.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with big‑data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark, and Python.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing data models for large‑scale analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of survey data structures, statistical analysis, and metric definition.
  • Experience with ETL tools and scripting languages (Shell, Python) for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment, delivering incremental value in short sprints.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
