[Remote] Healthcare IT Project Manager

They are seeking a Healthcare IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex initiatives, including EHR implementations and system modernization, while managing cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Track scope, risks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate teams and facilitate status meetings, reporting, and executive updates
- Support go-live readiness, compliance, and continuous process improvement
Skills
- 5–10+ years of experience in healthcare IT, project management, or consulting
- Experience delivering large-scale healthcare IT or EHR implementations
- Exposure to federal/state healthcare programs (VA, DoD, CMS, Medicaid)
- Hands-on experience with EHR platforms (Cerner, Epic, etc.)
- Ability to travel 25–50% and support critical milestones (e.g., go-live)
- Experience across consulting, federal contracting, or government environments
- Strong adaptability to changing priorities and regulatory requirements
- Commitment to security, privacy, and compliance standards
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) implementations
- Knowledge of federal contracting, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Strong stakeholder communication, governance, and reporting experience
