Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Remote Associate Customer Service Representative to join our dedicated service center. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members, providers, brokers, and group administrators who need assistance with dental benefits, claims, and account inquiries. Your ability to listen, empathize, and resolve issues quickly will directly impact the satisfaction and well‑being of millions of service‑connected families.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chat messages from individual members, group representatives, dental providers, and brokers with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex benefit inquiries, claim discrepancies, and eligibility questions, providing clear, accurate resolutions.
  • Document each interaction in our CRM system, ensuring all details are captured for future reference and compliance.
  • Escalate unresolved or high‑severity cases to the appropriate supervisory tier, following arenaflex’s escalation matrix.

Administrative & Process Support

  • Generate and process service adjustments when claims are incorrectly posted or when coverage errors occur, coordinating with the finance and claims teams as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous time‑keeping and activity logs to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, webinars, and knowledge‑share meetings to stay current on policy updates, system enhancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by team leads, such as assisting with special projects, data audits, or outreach initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call‑center environment; healthcare‑related service experience is highly desirable.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to satisfy Department of Defense contract requirements.
  • Background Clearance: Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, drug screening, and credit check; successful attainment of a DoD Level 2 clearance is required.
