[Remote] Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, Asset Finance

FIS is a leading provider in financial services and technology, and they are seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant specialized in Asset Finance. This role involves demonstrating market knowledge and software expertise to clients, establishing credibility, and contributing to product management and sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate your specialist knowledge of the market in which our clients operate as well as of the software product or similar software products
- Establish the credibility needed to convince them our solution is the correct strategic choice
- Comfortable presenting to senior people, establishing immediate credibility with opinion formers and decision makers
- Operating as part of a team across sales, delivery services and product management
- Working on large, complex sales projects with high capital values
- Analysing client requirements during discovery meetings
- Preparing scenarios for demonstrations
- Configuring the platform
- Demonstrating the software
- Formulating appropriate responses and answering ad-hoc questions on functionality for prospects
- Running functional workshops
- Responding to RFI/RFP documents
- Help in the development of new business opportunities
- Using your knowledge of industry trends, regulatory change and competitor offerings to develop thought leadership positions
- Provide input to the product management process
- Attendance and support at trade shows and client events
- Willingness to travel regularly across North America (including potentially occasional travel to Europe or South America)
Skills
- At least 4 years' experience working within a software company as a Pre-Sales / Professional Services consultant in asset finance, or within an asset financing firm (or related consulting firm) in a client facing or operational role
- In-depth knowledge of asset finance as an industry
- In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end front, middle and back office requirements
- Good grasp of technology and technical concepts, sufficient to support scenario preparation requiring software configuration
- Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements, evaluating business problems and proposing solutions
- Understanding of the entire sales cycle, from market research through to contract signing
- Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Ability to organise, prioritise, and multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding presentation abilities
- Fluency in English. A foreign language (especially Spanish) would be an advantage
- Exposure to SQL Server and Crystal Reports
- A technical background and/or programming/developer skills
- Specific knowledge of lease accounting & North American leasing regulation
