[Remote] Senior Anaplan Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DSI Consulting Group is a principal-led boutique consultancy specializing in Enterprise Planning, AI & Automations. They are seeking a Senior Anaplan Consultant to lead solution architecture and delivery for enterprise engagements, focusing on translating complex business problems into effective model designs and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with finance and FP&A stakeholders, surfacing the real problem beneath the stated requirement
• Architect Anaplan models that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to how the business actually plans — not just to the spec on the page
• Own solution design end-to-end: data architecture, module structure, calculation logic, and lifecycle (ALM) considerations
• Partner with our offshore model builders to translate design into build, reviewing for quality and structural integrity
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client sponsors, managing expectations and earning the right to the next conversation
• Contribute to DSI’s internal standards, reusable assets, and demo library as we scale

Skills

• Demonstrated Anaplan model-building experience on real enterprise engagements, including multi-model architecture and ALM
• A working command of FP&A and corporate finance — budgeting, forecasting, variance, and the way finance teams actually think
• The ability to design for scale and maintainability, not just to make something that works today
• Comfort integrating planning systems with upstream and downstream data
• A consultative, discovery-first instinct: you ask the question behind the question and listen before you build
• Clear, credible communication with both finance practitioners and executive sponsors
• Sound judgment under ambiguity — you can make a defensible call when the requirements are incomplete
• Ownership: you carry a problem to resolution without needing to be managed to it
• You thrive in a small, senior, high-trust environment where titles matter less than reliability
• You take pride in craft and in being the person clients want back on the next engagement
