Blazer Jobs is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers in Kansas City, KS. These full-time positions offer an excellent opportunity to support students with learning disabilities in both middle and high school settings. Job Responsibilities... Teach in resource and general education classrooms with up to 25 students, 33% of whom may be Special Education students. Provide individualized instruction and support for students with learning disabilities. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success. For high school positions, provide support to medically fragile and low-functioning students in smaller classroom settings (8-12 students). Qualifications: Active Special Education teaching license in the State of Kansas. Experience in developing and implementing IEPs is preferred. Ability to manage diverse classroom environments and support students with a range of learning disabilities. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
