Take a look behind the scenes: bit.ly/3sD7tYK Meet your team You will report to our Head of Vendor Management, supported by a team of Sales Associates, and Account Managers, joining a well-oiled and hard-working team. As a Vendor Partnerships Manager in supporting the Boston and Philadelphia area, you'll be building Choco's recognition and value across your territory. This position is a remote position. You'd be supporting the Boston and Philadelphia areas and joining a company that is primarily in-office. To ensure collaboration, traveling to a Choco office in New York or Chicago 1-2 times per quarter will be expected. What you’ll do • Like an entrepreneur, find creative and efficient ways to acquire new vendors • Manage day to day suppliers relationship and communication • Meet suppliers and spend most of the day on the field with them • Analyse business insights and turn them into action plans to develop Choco suppliers presence • Use your passion for the food industry to stay aware of events, trends, competitors and industry developments What we’re looking for • You have a strong experience in a Sales / Purchasing / Partnership role within the food industry. • Experience negotiating commercial agreements • Remarkable communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly. You can put yourself in the shoes of the CEO of a big supplier firm but also in the shoes of a tiny farmer's marketing in Los Angeles • The ability to understand the broader picture and to come up with the best strateg yand focus on the execution. • Bilingual Spanish language skills About Choco Founded in 2018, Choco is a young, fast-moving company.
