About the position As a Cash Room Specialist at Nordstrom, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and security of cash handling processes within the retail environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve adhering to strict Cash Room security guidelines, which are essential for maintaining the integrity of cash transactions. You will be tasked with investigating and resolving any discrepancies related to Safe Fund Errors, ensuring that all issues are communicated promptly to the Department Manager. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, as you will be responsible for creating thorough and legible paperwork that must be filed daily after receiving manager approval. In addition to these responsibilities, you will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of the functions and maintenance of Cash Room equipment, as well as the various reporting requirements associated with cash handling.
