Arborist Specialist Maintaining the health and well-being of trees and shrubs is a crucial aspect of our tree care services. As an Arborist Specialist with Monster Tree Service of Lancaster, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' properties are protected from pests and diseases. Key Responsibilities: ? Disease and Pest Management: Diagnose and treat trees and shrubs for insects, disease, and other health issues to prevent damage and promote healthy growth. ? Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain equipment used to apply plant health care treatments, adhering to all safety protocols and manufacturer instructions. ? Material Handling: Properly mix, handle, and store materials to ensure safe application and minimize environmental impact. ? Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of treatments and client interactions, adhering to MTS standards and regulations. ? Crew Member: Work collaboratively as a member of the tree crew, performing ground and utility functions to support our team's efforts. ? Customer Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients, providing excellent communication and customer service to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. ? Upselling Opportunities: Identify additional issues and present upsell opportunities to clients, increasing revenue and enhancing our services. ? Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Manager and Sales Arborist to ensure seamless coordination and efficient operations. Required Qualifications: ? A valid Pesticide License is preferred or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe. ? The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ? ISA Arborist certification or the ability to obtain it is preferred. ? A clean and valid driver's license is required for travel to client sites. ? The ability to identify local trees and shrubs and diagnose common insects, disease, and abiotic issues. ? Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities. ? Math skills to accurately calculate mix ratios for applications. ? The ability to understand product labels and directions.
