We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Long-Term High School Mathematics Substitute Teacher to join our team at Holy Names Academy in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate young women from diverse backgrounds, teaching Honors Geometry and Algebra classes, as well as leading a homeroom. This full-time position, available from November 27, 2023, through June 12, 2024, offers a competitive salary range of $350 - $500 per day, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee-led wellness programs, and access to our school fitness center.

Responsibilities

• Teach four classes of mathematics, including Honors Geometry and Algebra
• Lead a homeroom and contribute to the overall educational experience of our students
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Participate in school events and activities, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (Master's degree and teaching experience preferred)
• Ability to teach Honors Geometry and Algebra
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
