As a part-time instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing by educating and mentoring students in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service
• Plan and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in clinical settings
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student learning needs
• Grade assignments and provide timely feedback
• Maintain current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Master's (MSN) or doctoral degree (DNP/PhD) in nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in California
• At least three years of professional experience in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
• Teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required
• Clinical skills competency verification and annual self-assessment of clinical nursing skills
