Federal Program Tutor Advisor (375 FTE) - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Federal Program Tutor Advisor to join our team. As a Tutor Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing instructional support services to students in need of academic intervention, with a focus on grades K-2. This is a remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary and immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring and instructional support to students
• Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining accurate student records
• Compile and maintain student records on attendance, testing results, and progress
• Provide information and materials to classroom instructors and conduct parent involvement activities
• Coordinate parent/family school functions and attend meetings and parent conferences
• Conduct progress monitoring assessments and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Completed two years (48 semester credits) of study at an institution of higher education; or obtained an associate's degree
• Ability to maintain effective communication with students and staff
• Ability to carry out and evaluate student achievement
• Demonstrate adequate level of instructional technology skills
• Experience and training working with children from diverse backgrounds
