As an Instructional Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students, AmeriCorps members, and the community at large.
About the Role: The Instructional Coach will be responsible for creating instructional learning experiences, supporting an inclusive and equitable academic strategy, and serving as an active member of the City Year community. You will partner with the Learning and Development Director, Analytics Manager, Impact Directors, and Impact Managers to coach a specific group of AmeriCorps members, managing a portfolio of up to six school teams and coaching up to 30 AmeriCorps members per quarter.
Key Responsibilities
- Support student-level impact through coaching and intervention support
- Partner with the Learning & Development team to provide one-on-one and team-level academic intervention training and support to Corps members
- Conduct monthly Observation & Coaching Sessions for ACMs in portfolio of schools
- Execute an annual observation and coaching plan
- Support overall service at City Year Tulsa, including facilitating monthly Impact conversations and training AmeriCorps Members in understanding and utilizing assessment scores
