Bilingual Special Education Teacher - Remote Opportunity

Achievement House Cyber Charter School, a leading 100% online cyber charter school, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Bilingual Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting our Spanish-speaking students and families, helping to break down barriers and ensure their success.
Job Summary:
- Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide support to identified students via computer and phone, and co-teach with subject area teachers to provide educational support
- Collaborate with staff to develop accommodations and modifications of the curriculum
- Communicate with parents on a regular basis to ensure their involvement in their child's education
- Generate required data to meet Special Education compliance and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Verbally and orally fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong and precise skills in the development and maintenance of IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and progress monitoring
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Positive and encouraging outlook, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient use of technology, including Blackboard Collaborate, Microsoft Office Suite, and Internet
- Bachelor's degree and PA Special Education certificate, with additional certification in core subject area a plus
